Situated between two harbours there's plenty of water based activities on offer.  As the largest city in New Zealand, Auckland is packed full of 家庭旅游景点, 博物馆和画廊. Known as the 'City of Sails', water based activities are big here, with yachts dotted everywhere. Scenic cruises and island hopping on the ferries are a great way  to take in the harbour setting. 

The compact downtown area is easy to explore on foot with museums, 家庭旅游景点, galleries and the 图标ic Skytower never far away.  There's also the main retail hub of 'Queen Street' and the trendy Britomart precinct. 

With over 26 regional parks, there is a huge selection of walking trails to enjoy. The golden beaches to the north of the city are ideal for relaxing and often you'll have the beach to yourself! 在荒凉的西海岸, the beaches are popular with surfers, while hikers who are drawn to the Waitakere Ranges.
